Matthew Andersen has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Matthew currently works as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Inmar Intelligence, a position they started in 2021. Prior to this, Matthew worked at Raytheon Technologies from 2009 to 2021, where they held the roles of Technical Writer II and Technical Writer I. In these positions, they were responsible for writing and editing manuals for government programs, conducting research and analysis of logistical support data, and reviewing engineering change proposals.

Before joining Raytheon Technologies, Matthew worked as an Online Facilitator at the University of Phoenix from 2008 to 2014. In this role, they facilitated online college writing courses and administered and assessed student assignments and essays.

Before their time at the University of Phoenix, Matthew worked as a self-employed freelance Technical Writer from 2005 to 2008. Matthew also briefly worked as an Information Design Consultant at McKinnon-Mulherin, Inc. in 2008.

Matthew's early career experience includes working as a Graduate Instructor at Utah State University from 2005 to 2007, where they taught courses and assisted students in their academic and writing endeavors.

Matthew Andersen has a Bachelor's degree in Professional and Technical Writing from Utah State University, which they obtained in the years 1999-2005. Matthew then pursued a Master's degree in Literature and Writing from the same university, which they completed between 2005 and 2007. More recently, in 2019, they obtained a certification in Business Analytics: From Data to Insights from The Wharton School.
