Dmitry Smekhov is an experienced FPGA design engineer and educator, currently serving as a part-time Xilinx instructor at Inline Group since October 2019. Dmitry has a robust background in FPGA design, having worked at IRQ from September 2020 to March 2023, and at Grovf from April 2022 to August 2022. Dmitry previously held the position of Head of DSP Laboratory at Instrumental Systems from January 2001 to September 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing FPGA projects for high-speed interfaces and leading research in new technologies such as 10G and 100G Ethernet. Dmitry's expertise encompasses various FPGA families including Virtex and Kintex, alongside proficiency in PCI Express protocols. Dmitry's career began as a software engineer at ESMA, where development focused on measurement software. Dmitry holds an engineering degree in electronics from Moscow State Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation.
