Miguel Angel Acosta Mellado is a seasoned leader in the energy sector with extensive experience in the construction and management of renewable energy projects. Currently serving as the Director General of Soluciones Energéticas at INGENOSTRUM since March 2023, Miguel previously led the photovoltaic projects at GRUPO COPSA, establishing a new business unit focused on solar power. Before that, Miguel held significant positions at ACCIONA, overseeing the creation and growth of the Transmission and Distribution business and managing operations for renewable energy maintenance. With a career spanning over three decades, Miguel has also contributed to major projects at Grupo Cobra and FCC Industrial, and Miguel Angel played a key role in the development of Spain's first high-speed train line with Abengoa. Miguel's academic background includes degrees in Engineering from Universidad de Extremadura and specialized training in solar photovoltaic technology.
