Johan Riemersma is an experienced IT security professional with a strong background in risk management and information security. Currently serving as the Expert Lead in IT Security at ING since January 2019, Johan also holds the position of Senior First Line IT Risk & Security Officer since February 2005, where responsibilities include security monitoring, IT sourcing, and educating development teams on security policies. Johan has previously managed teams overseeing electronic banking applications and has substantial experience as a Senior Business Consultant and Information Analyst at ING and IQUIP. Johan holds multiple certifications in information security, including CISSP and CISM, and has a degree in Economics and Accountancy from the University of Amsterdam.
