Danny Wijnand serves as the Global Head of Engineering and Reliability at ING since August 2016, overseeing the global product strategy, delivery, and operations of the Touchpoint Platform, managing over 30 teams across Europe and Asia. Prior to this role, Danny held several key positions at ING Nederland from April 2002 to August 2016, including IT Area Lead Omnichannel, where the development and operations of over 300 engineers were managed, along with the creation of a new omnichannel digital strategy. Previous professional experiences include a role at JPMorgan Chase in Singapore as an Associate, managing a skilled development team, and as a Software Engineer at LaSalle Bank, focusing on financial trading systems. Danny earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Technical Computer Science from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht between 1994 and 1999.
