Beate Zwijnenberg is the Global Chief Information Security Officer at ING since 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing information security, fraud management, and business continuity, resulting in a significant transformation of the global CISO organization. Prior to this role, Zwijnenberg served as Director of Fraud Management & Cybersecurity at ING Nederland from 2012 to 2018, successfully merging capabilities across ING Netherlands and Belgium, and served in various capacities within ING Nederland, including reducing fraud losses by 80% as Director of Fraud Management & Operations. Additional experience includes multiple roles at Nationale-Nederlanden, culminating as Program Director, and an earlier tenure at ING that encompassed product management and project leadership. Beate Zwijnenberg holds a Master’s degree in Architecture, Urbanism, and Building Sciences from Delft University of Technology.
