Judy Priest

Adisory Board Member at Infrastructure Masons

When microprocessor architectures moved to reduced instruction set (RISC), Judy worked on circuit and power design and packaging that enabled high performance of the new silicon revolution. This pipelined architecture allowed for faster performance by stages for compute instructions, Judy’s engineering expertise helped define detailed signal integrity and timing that enabled synchronous and asynchronous high performance compute in parallel and vector platforms.

Judy is affiliated with a number of initiatives that serve to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Some of these initiatives include TechWomen Scholarship and Mentoring Review Committee: initiative of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, a position on the Astia Advisory Board, a global nonprofit ensuring the success of women in high growth startups through angel funding and mentoring. Additionally, Judy serves on the Board of Directors, Women’s Audio Mission, a local San Francisco and Oakland nonprofit providing hands-on training for low income and underserved girls, women, and GNC (gender nonconforming) individuals in audio technologies.

Judy has 6 US patents, 30+ publications in IEEE, IMAPS, SMTA, and various technical conferences. Judy was recognized as 2018 Business Insider’s Most Powerful Female Engineers and 2020/2021 Intercon Top 50 Technical Leaders.
