Nikolay Ivanets has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and development. In 2000, they began their career as a System Administrator and Junior Software Developer at The Kherson State Enterprise of a Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre "KhersonGeoInform", where they designed and developed a Visual Basic application to simplify the process of editing and publishing "The State Certificate on The Property Right to The Ground". In 2003, they moved to Debit-Plus as a Software Developer, where they were responsible for business-logic (accounting) in JavaScript and application core in C++. In 2004, they joined DownStream Technologies, LLC as a Software Developer, working in the area of PCB validation and documentation tools. Finally, in 2008, they became a Software Engineer at Infrascale.

Nikolay Ivanets attended Kakhovka High School #4 from 1986 to 1997, graduating with a high school diploma. Nikolay then went on to attend Kherson State University from 1997 to 2002, where they received an Ed.S. (Specialist of Education) in Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics.
