Kiran Narahari is a skilled research engineer specializing in machine learning and full-stack development, currently working at the USC Information Sciences Institute on the KNIC project, which utilizes ElasticSearch, vector indexes, and large language models. Previous experience includes roles as a machine learning engineer at INK Lab, where Kiran maintained an interactive debugging framework for NLP models, and as a software engineer at Houlihan Lokey, where three scalable ML chatbots were developed for automation tasks. Kiran also worked on anomaly prediction and time-series forecasting projects in the steel manufacturing industry while at Mahindra University and enhanced ensemble machine learning models at Xformics Inc. Kiran holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Mahindra University.
