Marco A. Basso

Marco A. Basso has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Marco A. started their career in 1988 as the COO at Basso Pinturas e Decorações Ltda. After two years, they moved on to work as a Paper Trader - Europe at Bahia Pulp. In 1992, they joined Unibanco as the Gerente de Reengenharia. Finally, in 1996, they became the CEO at Informa Markets - Brazil.

Marco A. Basso has an extensive education history. In 1983 to 1987, they attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo and obtained a degree in Civil Engineering. After that, in 1989 to 1991, they pursued a Post Graduação degree in Business Administration at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Moving forward, in 1994 to 1996, they pursued an MBA with a specialization in Finance at Ibmec.

In 2000, Marco enrolled in multiple short-term programs at Cranfield University and FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, focusing on Management and Strategic Planning, respectively. The following year, in 2001, they attended the London Business School for a course on Strategic Leadership and Corporate Renewal.

Continuing their education, Marco pursued an MBA in International Executive at USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2001 to 2003. Years later, in 2020, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for a course on Digital Transformation, specifically delving into Digital Strategy.

Furthermore, in 2020, they completed a Course for Administrative Board Members in Economics and Business Management at IBGC- Inst Bras Gov Corporativa. Lastly, in 2021, Marco obtained a Post Graduation Diploma in Digital Business from Columbia University, specializing in Digital Business.

In addition to their formal education, Marco has obtained two additional certifications. In January 2018, they completed a certification in "The Science of Sales" from LinkedIn. More recently, in September 2022, they obtained a certification in "Informa Ignite - Data Driven Journey - Green Belt" from Informa.
