Troy Olson has extensive work experience in IT service management and program management. Troy is currently working as a Program Manager at Infocenter since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at ServIT as the Director of Service Delivery from February to October 2021. In this role, they led a service delivery transformation program and managed a diverse team of support personnel and engineers.
Before joining ServIT, Troy worked at Cox Enterprises, Inc. for a significant period of time. From 2016 to 2021, they served as the Director of IT Service Management, where they managed multimillion-dollar projects, implemented the ServiceNow platform, and directed the selection of a managed service contract. Prior to this role, they were the Senior Manager of IT Service Management from 2003 to 2016, overseeing IT service management technology and process activities, including disaster recovery initiatives. Additionally, they served as an Information Technology Manager from 2001 to 2003, establishing a new department and leading support teams for critical infrastructure.
Troy Olson attended Northern Virginia Community College from 1987 to 1989, studying Business Administration. Troy did not obtain a degree during this time. In addition to their college education, Troy has obtained several certifications. Troy is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) from DRI, holds an IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from ITIL Certified, is a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance, and also has a Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
