Scott Nye has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Scott currently serves as the COO at Inflexion Games starting from December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Improbable where they held the positions of Head of Game Studio Operations from September 2019 to December 2021 and Director of Operations - Edmonton from September 2018 to September 2019. Before Improbable, Scott worked at Electronic Arts (EA) as the Finance Director from September 2011 to June 2018. Scott also served as the Director of Finance & Operations at the Art Gallery of Alberta from April 2009 to September 2011. Scott's previous experience includes being the CFO at Langford Professional from August 2007 to March 2009 and the Director of Finance at Cevena Bioproducts Inc from November 2006 to August 2007. Scott started their career at TELUS in various roles including Manager, Planning & Service Delivery from May 2006 to November 2006, Manager, Internet Applications from September 2002 to May 2006, Senior Advisor, Corporate Strategy from August 2000 to August 2002, and various roles in accounting, financial planning & analysis, and strategy from May 1994 to July 2000.

Scott Nye began their education journey in 1991 at The University of Lethbridge, where they pursued a Bachelor of Mgmt degree in Accounting. Scott completed this program in 1994. Following this, from 1995 to 1997, Scott attended the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada), where they obtained the CPA, CMA designation. Later, in 1999, Scott enrolled at Queen's University, completing a two-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in 2001. The field of study for their MBA program is not specified.
