Jon Newman is an experienced audio professional with a career spanning over two decades in the gaming industry. Currently serving as Audio Director at Inflexion Games since December 2021, Jon has held similar positions at Improbable and Creative Assembly, where roles included Principal Sound Designer and Senior Audio Designer. Prior experience includes key sound design roles at Crytek and FreeStyleGames, as well as leadership at Hypersonic Audio and Codemasters. Jon began a career in audio design at Hackenbacker Audio and EA UK as a student audio designer. Educational background includes a BMus (Hons) Tonmeister from the University of Surrey.
