Dennis Schuetzle is a board member at Infinium and the former Chief Technology Officer at Greyrock Energy, Inc. Dennis has over 40 years of experience in managing scientific and engineering research, product development and manufacturing, renewable energy and fuel production processes, and environmental science and technology programs in collaboration with organizations all over the world.
Greyrock Energy is a global leader in the deployment of small refineries for the efficient and economical conversion of stranded, associated and distributed hydrocarbon resources into high quality fuels and chemicals. The company was founded in 2006 with the vision to provide alternative solutions to the pressing global problems of energy and the environment by providing innovative technology solutions that enable production of clean and cost competitive fuels and chemicals from many kinds of carbonaceous resources.
During the past eight years, the Greyrock Energy team, in collaboration with multi-$billion partner organizations, the U.S. DOE, U.S. DOD, the CA Energy Commission and others, have successfully demonstrated that the Greyrock technologies can efficiently and economically convert different carbonaceous resources directly into “drop-in” fuels.
Greyrock is currently in the process of deploying a refinery in Texas with forthcoming refineries planned for several other U.S. locations. Under Dennis Schuetzle's leadership as Chief Technology Officer, Greyrock has become a leading company in providing alternative energy solutions that are both efficient and economical.
Dr. Dennis Schuetzle earned their PhD in Civil/Environmental Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Washington. Dennis also holds an MS in Chemistry and Computer Science from Stanford University, and a BS in Chemistry from California State University - San Jose.
