Jengrong Yeh has a strong background in the optical engineering field. Jengrong started their career at Harmonic Inc in 1995, where they served as the Manager of Optical Transmitters Products for a decade. In 2005, they joined OpVista as the Lead Optical Engineer and contributed to the company until 2009. Currently, they are serving as the Principal Optical Engineer at Infinera, starting from August 2009.

Jengrong Yeh completed a Ph.D in Physics at the University of Southern California in 1995. Before that, from 1980 to 1984, they attended National Taiwan University, although the specific degree and field of study are not provided.
