Infernozilla is a multi-award-winning agency based in Dallas, Texas, focused on Social Media, Community Management, and grassroots Marketing in the gaming industry. With nearly 170 long-term clients and 73 awards in 2023 alone, we excel at designing and executing high-impact community and marketing campaigns for our clients.

We strive to always go to all the depths to ensure all our clients are fully taken care of. Our vision is to be the go-to agency for indie game needs in Community Management, Social Media Management, Marketing, and the like. 

We have worked with games such as Black Mesa, Escape from Tarkov, KovaaK’s, Ready or Not, Dungeons of Eternity, Walkabout Minigolf, and many others that we are proud to continue to support.

Currently, we are on the search for a Content Manager professional, with a passion for gaming and a keen understanding of company goals and maintaining a solid brand awareness. From engaging with social media posts to making sure all our information is up to date, you would be the first port of call for all content needs and the vanguard to the Business team.

Content Manager Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Managing the agency’s and the CEO’s social media platforms

  • Writing, planning, editing, and proofreading content such as blog posts

  • Keep the information on our website up to date whilst implementing best SEO practice

  • Utilize internal staff and also invite other industry veterans for blog posts, tips, and helpful info for game developers in areas of CM, SMM, and Marketing

  • Write short video scripts for the CEO to create content with

  • Brainstorm with team members to develop new content ideas

  • Build a following on social media

  • Assist with shooting, editing, and managing the company’s YouTube channel

  • Work closely with our Graphic Design team to get all the assets required

  • Monthly SEO work on website and finding ways to improve our digital presence

  • Creation, management, and scripting of video content for new clients’ onboarding funnel

  • Manage the production of comprehensive video game marketing, social media management, and community management online courses

This role is fully remote*, and the right candidate is expected to work full-time while managing their schedule of 35-40 hours per week.*

Content Manager Qualifications / Skills:

  • Communication skills: Prompt and succinct communication with your team and any department you’re engaging in.

  • Writing skills: you need to have a passion and flair for the English language and a stifler for creative and fun ways of engaging with readers whether it’s social or blog content.

  • Motivation for what you do: You get butterflies at seeing any opportunity within a business to improve, update and follow along. Our success feels like your success. You’re enthusiastic about what you do.

  • Time Management: the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects at a time and dynamically shifting attention to high-priority tasks

  • Industry knowledge: You are a gamer by night and spend hours during the day working or learning about the video game industry.

  • Professionalism: you uphold yourself to the highest standard and can work independently and cooperate with everyone with a smile

  • Strong command of writing and speaking in English.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Proficient written and spoken English is a requirement for this position

  • While traditional education is admirable, we want to see content management and industry experience over school years.

  • Experience in a content manager position, SEO, social media management, or relevant experience is highly recognized.

  • Other experiences in video game content management, social media management, or marketing are a major plus as you will be more knowledgeable of the communities you are engaging with.
