Nicole Leno has a strong background in aquatic programs and recreational supervision. Nicole began their career in 2006 as an Aquatics Program Director at the YMCA, where they worked until 2014. During their time at the YMCA, Nicole gained experience in managing and overseeing aquatics programs. In 2014, they transitioned to Infant Swimming Resource, where they worked as an Instructor specializing in infant swim safety. Nicole joined the City of Sunrise in 2015 as a Recreation Supervisor of Aquatics, a position they held until 2017. Currently, they are working as an Aquatics Director at the YMCA of South Palm Beach County, a role they have held since 2018.

Nicole Leno pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Studies from Virginia Wesleyan University. Nicole attended the university from 2004 to 2008, completing their education in that field during that time.
