Pfeifer Peter has been working in the field since 1997, when they began as a Researcher at Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg. In the same year, they also became Head of Chemical Energy Storage and Group Leader Catalytic Processes at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) / University of Karlsruhe (TH). In 2015, they founded INERATEC GmbH.

Pfeifer Peter attended FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg from 1991 to 1997, where they received a Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
