Elise Reuter is an experienced reporter currently working at Industry Dive since January 2022, focusing on digital health, insurance, and health IT. Prior to this role, Elise served as a reporter for MedCity News and covered startups and software companies at the San Diego Business Journal. Earlier positions include reporting on healthcare, life sciences, and technology for the Kansas City Business Journal, as well as business and municipal government news for Summit Daily News. Elise began their journalism career with internships at the Kansas City Business Journal and The Kansas City Star, and served as Copy Chief at The University Daily Kansan. Elise holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from the University of Kansas, along with a French language certification from Université catholique de l'Ouest.
