Russell Bright is an experienced professional in the fields of investment and water management, currently serving as an Angel Investor at Industrial Phycology since August 2017, where a technology utilizing algae is developed for wastewater pollution removal and carbon capture. In addition to this role, Russell Bright is a Member of Glas Cymru with Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water and has served as a mentor for Business Wales for nearly 30 years. Russell Bright holds non-executive director positions at Sinfonia Cymru and Age Connects Cardiff & The Vale, supporting young musicians and helping older individuals maintain independence, respectively. Previously, Russell held significant leadership roles including Group Managing Director at Siltbuster Ltd and Managing Director at Freudenberg Filtration Technologies. Russell Bright graduated with a BSc in Chemical Process Engineering with Business Management and German from the University of Aston in Birmingham between 1980 and 1984.
