Leah Kim

Supervisor Librarian - Central Adult Services at The Indianapolis Public Library

Leah Kim, MA, MLIS, has a diverse background in library and education services with significant experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Supervisor Librarian of the Wes Montgomery Team at The Indianapolis Public Library since October 2019, Leah heads the Nonprofit Team and previously held the position of Public Services Librarian. Prior experience includes roles as Public Training Librarian and Grant Administrator at Milwaukee Public Library from 1999 to 2004, and as Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Upper Iowa University, where Leah taught ENG 101: Basic Composition. Additionally, Leah has worked as a Training Supervisor and Certified Instructor at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, and served as Site Supervisor for Literacy Volunteers of America/Capital Area Literacy Coalition. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in British and American Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Michigan State University, respectively, along with a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
