Ashton Hackman is a dedicated broadcast journalism student at Indiana University Bloomington, expected to graduate in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. Experience includes serving as the News Director, News Reporter, and Anchor for Indiana University Student Television since August 2021, along with roles as Assistant Executive Director and Director of Programming where management and creative skills were showcased. Ashton has also contributed as a Producer and Co-Host for “What’s Up Weekly.” Additional experience as a journalism intern at the Arnolt Center for Investigative Journalism and WTHR-TV, coupled with reporting and producing for IU NewsNet and a journalism internship at 21Alive WPTA, further solidify skills in storytelling, data analysis, and content development.
