Tyler Spence is an enterprise reporter and news editor at the Indiana Daily Student since January 2024, while also serving as a fellow at the Arnolt Center for Investigative Journalism at Indiana University. Spence has previous experience as a Pulliam Fellow at The Indianapolis Star, with a focus on business and politics, and as a news reporter covering City Hall and local policies for HD Media LLC. Leadership roles include serving as executive editor, managing editor, and opinion editor at The Parthenon, where significant projects included redesigning the publication and covering high-profile events. Spence has experiences in audio production, information technology support, and marketing, alongside a strong educational background with a master’s degree in journalism from Indiana University and two bachelor's degrees from Marshall University in Public Relations and Multimedia Journalism, along with a minor in Political Science.
