Amit Kumar is a Senior Research Scientist specializing as a Pharmacopoeial Scientist at the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission since November 2020. Previously, Amit served as a Research Scholar at CSIR-CIMAP from January 2013 to October 2020. Amit holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology/Biological Sciences from the Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, obtained between 2014 and 2020. Additionally, Amit earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Plant Biotechnology from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology And Sciences (SHUATS) from 2010 to 2012 and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biotechnology from CCS University, Meerut, from 2007 to 2010.
