Paresh Pattani is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in institutional development, technical consulting, and investment in startups. Currently serving as Vice President of Institutional Development at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Paresh leads global initiatives for the new campus in Zanzibar, Tanzania. As an early investor, Paresh contributes to Vivifi Medical's goal of innovative treatment for urological conditions and advises Xplorazzi on Vision AI solutions for retail. Previous roles include significant leadership positions at Intel Corporation, where Paresh managed large teams in software development products and high-performance computing. Paresh also holds board membership at Kalakendra, a non-profit dedicated to promoting Indian performing arts. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from The University of British Columbia and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
