Kirtan Satodia is a Bachelor of Technology student in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, with an expected graduation in 2025. Kirtan has gained valuable experience as a Summer Research Intern at Tata Research Development and Design Centre, where a project involved numerical modeling and machine learning-based predictions of thermal runaway in Li-ion batteries. As an Undergraduate Research Fellow at IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation, Kirtan focused on developing convolutional neural networks for diagnosing bearing faults using deep learning techniques. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Finance Head and Finance Coordinator for Shaastra at IIT Madras, as well as an Executive for Events and Partnerships at 180 Degrees Consulting IIT Madras.
