Sudhir Dixit is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in academia and industry, currently serving as a VAJRA Professor at the Indian Institute of Science since January 2022. As a co-founder and senior fellow of the Basic Internet Foundation since September 2015, Sudhir Dixit is dedicated to improving internet access in underserved areas. Additionally, Sudhir has held roles such as docent at the University of Oulu, CEO and co-founder of Skydoot, and distinguished chief technologist at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services. A former head of network R&D at Nokia Networks and senior director at BlackBerry, Sudhir's background includes significant contributions to broadband network architecture and technology development. Sudhir holds advanced degrees including a Ph.D. in Electronic Science & Telecommunications from the University of Strathclyde and an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology.
