Infectious Disease Physician, Phoenix Indian Medical Center at Indian Health Service

Melanie Taylor, MD, MPH, is a seasoned Medical Epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and has served as a Captain in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service since August 2002. Currently, Melanie is also an Infectious Disease Physician at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center and holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. Between March 2016 and August 2020, Melanie contributed as a Medical Officer in the Department of Reproductive Health and Research for the World Health Organization. Melanie's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Emory University and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Washington.
