Ajit Kumar Singh is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as an Assistant Manager at Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) since January 2022, where responsibilities include managing day-to-day activities in the Short-Term Open Access market and testing new products. Previously, Ajit worked as a Senior Executive Power at ACB (India) Power Limited from December 2020 to December 2021, overseeing commercial and regulatory matters for six coal-based thermal power plants totaling 1393 MW. Prior experience includes a role as Executive in Power (Commercial & Regulatory) at TRN Energy Private Limited, focusing on a 2x300 MW coal-based power plant. Ajit began the career as an Instrumentation Engineer at Shreenath Mhaskoba Sakhar Karkhana Ltd., working on a co-generation back pressure steam turbine. Ajit holds an MBA in Power Management from UPES and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Nagpur University.
