Ashish Mishra is a seasoned mining professional with over 17 years of experience in the mining sector. Currently serving as Deputy Controller of Mines at the Indian Bureau of Mines since December 2012, Ashish has held various roles including Senior Assistant Controller and Assistant Controller of Mines, focusing on the regulation of mines in the Nagpur Region, which encompasses Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. Prior to this, Ashish contributed to Steel Authority of India Limited from August 2006 to December 2012, advancing from Junior Manager to Assistant Manager in the Mines division. Ashish holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mining Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, completed in 2006.
