Umesh Kumar has over 20 years of experience in environmental management, specializing in wastewater recycling and environmental compliance. Currently serving as Assistant General Manager of Effluent Treatment Plant (ZLD) at Indian Acrylics Ltd since January 2020, Umesh Kumar focuses on maintaining zero liquid discharge and liaising with regulatory authorities. Previous roles include Manager of ETP (ZLD) at the same company, Environment Manager at Hero Cycles Ltd, and Manager of Utilities and Environment at Vallabh Textiles Co. Ltd. Umesh Kumar began the career as Officer In-Charge of ETP at Auro Textiles and has a solid educational background with a PG Diploma in Environment Management System from All India Institute of Management Studies, a Master of Science in Chemistry, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Rohilkhand University.
