Adrianna Ma is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in venture capital and investment management. Currently serving as an Operating Partner at Index Ventures since September 2020, Adrianna plays a key role in building and operating the firm, which has offices in London, New York, and San Francisco. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer at Fremont Group from May 2015 to June 2019, Adrianna oversaw investment strategies and risk management for a single family office's endowment-style portfolio. In a prior role as Managing Director at General Atlantic from July 2005 to April 2015, Adrianna led significant investments in the Energy & Resources and Business Services sectors. Adrianna's earlier career includes a Vice President position in M&A at Morgan Stanley, where 16 transactions were successfully closed, and a Project Manager role at HP, successfully launching enterprise server products generating over $500 million in revenue. Adrianna holds a B.S. and M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
