Sales & Business Development at Index Fresh

Nic Vallejo's work experience begins in 2001 with Oppy, where they worked as a Quality Controller. Nic conducted quality inspections and established grade standards for various commodities. During their time at Oppy, they also held various roles such as Sales Representative & Grower Specialist, Grower Specialist & Deal Manager, and Greenhouse Grower Coordinator.

In 2014, Vallejo joined IFCO SYSTEMS as a Commodity Manager. Nic evaluated the market, conducted commodity analyses, and provided data to drive sales and secure new business for retailers and growers.

From 2016 to 2017, Vallejo worked at Houweling's Group as an Account Manager. Nic grew new and existing business within specialty retailers and food service accounts, managed production, and created strategic plans to maximize profit.

Vallejo then joined Organically Grown Company in 2017 as a Senior Sales Representative. Nic identified opportunities for business growth, analyzed accounts to track sales and increase profitability, and developed retail program business with Safeway Auburn and Portland.

From 2018 to 2020, Vallejo worked at Lipman Family Farms as a Sales & Supply professional. Nic contributed to sales and supply activities.

In 2021, Vallejo joined West Pak Avocado, Inc. as a Sales & Business Development professional. Nic contributed to sales and business development activities.

Most recently, in 2022, Vallejo started working at Index Fresh Inc as a Sales & Business Development professional.

Throughout their career, Vallejo has demonstrated expertise in sales, business development, supply chain management, and relationship building across various companies in the produce industry.

Nic Vallejo obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Santa Barbara City College between 1999 and 2003. Later, from 2013 to 2014, Nic pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix.
