Tianjing Hu has a strong background in scientific research, with experiences in various roles and organizations. Starting in 2006, Hu worked as a Research Technician at the National Institute of Biological Sciences in Beijing. In 2008, they moved to the University of Colorado Boulder, where they served as a Ph.D. student until 2015 and later worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow until 2016. During this time, Hu conducted research, contributed to publications, and presented their work at conferences. Following their time at the University of Colorado Boulder, Hu joined the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2016 to 2020. In this role, they focused on characterizing the role of histone deacetylase 5 in cardiac oxidative stress, leading to a first author publication and a patent, as well as co-authoring two publications. In 2020, Hu became the Head of R&D at Nanoly Bioscience, Inc., before transitioning to their current position as a Scientist, R&D, and later a Senior Scientist at InDevR, Inc.
Tianjing Hu obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from Beijing Normal University in the years 2002 to 2006. Subsequently, from 2008 to 2015, Tianjing pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry at the University of Colorado Boulder. Additionally, Tianjing has obtained various certifications, such as "Project Management & Other Tools for Career Development" and "Network Analysis in System Biology" from Coursera in April 2023 and March 2023, respectively. In May 2020, Tianjing also acquired certifications in "Bioconductor for Genomic Data Science," "Genomic Data Science with Galaxy," "R Programming," and "Statistics for Genomic Data Science" from Coursera. Additionally, Tianjing obtained certifications in "Command Line Tools for Genomic Data Science" and "Python for Genomic Data Science" in April 2020 from Coursera. Tianjing also acquired certifications in "Statistics Foundations: 1," "Statistics Foundations: 2," and "Statistics Foundations: 3" from LinkedIn in March 2020. Finally, in March 2017, Tianjing completed the "Design and Interpretation of Clinical Trials" certification from Coursera.
