Burton French has over three decades of experience in the banking industry. Burton started their career at Wachovia Bank, where they served as Vice President from 1982 to 1994. Burton then moved on to JPMorgan Chase, where they worked as Senior Vice President from 1994 to 2009, focusing on developing business with mid-cap companies in Texas. In 2009, they joined Grand Bank as Executive Vice President, where they provided a variety of capital and treasury management solutions until 2015. Since 2009, they have also been serving as Senior Vice President at Independent Bank Group, Inc.

Burton French completed a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting at Texas A&M University from 1976 to 1980. Burton then pursued a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 1981 to 1982.
