Anish Kalro is an Associate Research Analyst at Independent Project Analysis since February 2023, previously serving as a Research Analyst. Anish gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Earth Institute, Columbia University, contributing to research on predicting refugee movements during the Russia-Ukraine conflict through linear programming and agent-based modeling. Anish also interned at Burnham RNG, where a User-Friendly Mass Balance Excel Application for dairy farms and wastewater facilities was developed, alongside conducting mass and heat balance calculations. Additional experience includes research on solid waste management practices in India at the Administrative Staff College of India, process engineering internships at Jacobs, and involvement in the IIChE Student Chapter as an Editorial Board Member. Anish holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering.
