Alexis Tsalpatouros has extensive experience in telecommunications and electrical engineering, currently serving as the Section Head for Telecommunication Field Works for Southern Greece at the Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) since February 2012. Previously held several leadership roles at IPTO, including Section Head for Peloponnesus & Western Greece System Telecommunications and in Transmission System Maintenance. Tsalpatouros also served as Telecommunications & Networks Manager at HTSO Hellenic Transmission System Operator from November 2000 to January 2012, and held the position of Training Division IT Support Department Head at Alpha Bank from April 1996 to October 2000. Early professional experience includes serving as an Electrical Engineer at ICCS NTUA from 1993 to 1996. Tsalpatouros holds a PhD and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, completed in 1997 and 1993, respectively.
