Jay Williams has extensive aviation experience, serving as an MD-11 Captain at UPS since 2019 and previously as a First Officer on both MD-11 and DC-8 aircraft from 2005 to 2018. In addition to piloting, Williams has held the role of FOQA Gatekeeper at the Independent Pilots Association since 2012, representing over 2,600 pilots for UPS. Prior military service includes leadership positions at the Alaska Air National Guard from 1986 to 2005, including Squadron Commander and Chief of Safety. Jay Williams holds a Master of Science in Strategic International Studies from the USAF Air War College, a Master of Science in Organizational Business Management from the University of La Verne, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee.
