George Wands has over 20 years of experience in internal auditing, starting as a Staff Auditor at M&T Bank Corporation in 1999. George progressed to roles such as In-Charge Staff Auditor at CF Industries, Supervising Senior at Nicor Gas, and Global Manager of Internal Control at Andrew Corporation. Currently, they serve as the Vice President - Chief Audit Officer at Independent Health, where they oversee internal audit functions and compliance efforts. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for conducting audits, assessing internal controls, and communicating findings to senior management.
George Wands attended Canisius University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. George also holds a certification as a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors.
