Joshua Britton serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Debut since April 2019, leading the company's innovative approach in the beauty industry by utilizing sustainable biotech ingredients. Additionally, Joshua holds a position on the Board of Directors at the Independent Beauty Association since June 2024 and acts as a Fund Advisor for Cantos Ventures, starting in December 2020, focusing on transformative near frontier technologies. Prior to these roles, Joshua worked as a Scientist at UC Irvine, specializing in cell-free systems for biomanufacturing, and as a Research Scholar, concentrating on continuous manufacturing with enzyme immobilization. Joshua's academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry from Flinders University and a Doctor of Philosophy from UC Irvine, complemented by a PostDoctoral fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
