Dan Sprik is an experienced actuary and director at Independence Blue Cross since June 2011, specializing in medical and pharmacy trend forecasting and pharmacy pricing. Prior roles include manager and actuary of pharmacy pricing, as well as associate actuary and manager of commercial pricing at the same company. Dan's earlier experience includes a brief tenure as an actuarial intern at XL Insurance in 2010 and an internship focusing on portfolio analysis and risk management at LEAF Financial in 2009. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from Penn State University, completed in 2011.
