Avijit Deb Sarkar has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Avijit is currently employed as a Senior Cloud Architect at Cloudreach, an Atos company, starting in September 2022.

Prior to this, Avijit worked at Tata Consultancy Services from November 2011 to August 2022 as a Technical Architect. In this role, they had over 10 years of experience in software development and implementation across web, desktop, and mobile environments. Avijit successfully managed and architected small to large projects from start to finish and provided support to existing software.

From September 2008 to November 2011, Avijit worked at IBM as a System Engineer. During this time, they worked with international business giants like MEARSK Line, Philip Morris International, and ACE Insurance. Avijit was recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) of Crystal Report and SQL Server.

In February 2008, Avijit worked at PwC India as an Application Developer, where they designed and developed enterprise web applications for US-based clients. Avijit also developed an application to protect sensitive PDF files with passwords and encryption.

Before that, they worked as a Jr. Software Engineer at VM Processor from August 2006 to February 2008. In this role, they developed web-based solutions for an automated valuation management system and maintained valuation reports using Crystal Report XI.

Avijit started their career as a System Engineer at CMC LTD in March 2006, where they worked until August 2006.

Throughout their career, Avijit has gained expertise in cloud architecture, software development, and implementation, as well as proficiency in tools like Crystal Report and SQL Server.

Avijit Deb Sarkar completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata from the years 2001 to 2005. Following this, they pursued their Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree in Microelectronics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 2017 to 2019.

Additionally, Avijit Deb Sarkar obtained several certifications throughout their educational journey. In 2017, they earned the PSMI certification from Scrum.org. In 2016, they completed the certifications for "The Raspberry Pi Platform and Python Programming for the Raspberry Pi," "Interfacing with the Arduino," "The Arduino Platform and C Programming," and "Introduction to the Internet of Things and Embedded Systems," all from Coursera Course Certificates. In 2015, they obtained the TOGAF 9 Certified certification from The Open Group. Recently, in 2020, they received the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification from Microsoft. Furthermore, in 2017, they completed the certifications for PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice and Prince 2 Foundation and Practitioner from Simplilearn, although the specific completion dates for these certifications are not available.
