Norberto Lopes is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and infrastructure roles. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at incident.io since February 2024, Lopes previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Duffel from April 2020 to December 2023. Prior experience includes significant roles at GoCardless, where Lopes progressed from Web Operations Engineer to Senior Manager of Infrastructure and Systems Engineering from October 2014 to April 2020. Lopes' early career at Blizzard Entertainment spanned from 2008 to 2014 in various engineering positions, culminating as a Senior Unix Engineer. Lopes began professional development as a Programmer/Researcher at FEUP in 2008. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Universidade do Porto, and attendance at a Master’s degree program in Logic and Computation at the same institution.
