Ryan Caulfield has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Ryan began their career as a Software Audio Designer at Giant Peach Audio, where they collaborated with small development studios on indie software projects, specializing in audio and music integration. During this time, they utilized Ableton and Unity for real-time audio synchronization and effect. Ryan also engaged in storyboarding with remote teams.
Following this, Ryan worked as a Software Development Intern at Ginger Land, where they contributed as a full-stack developer using technologies like Typescript, ES6, React, AWS Lambda, and NextJS. Ryan was involved in building an eco-tech platform for a UK government product, employing Scrum methodology and working with NodeJS and Postgres database.
Ryan then pursued a 16-week intensive course at CodeClan, gaining extensive coding practice in Python, JavaScript, and Java. As part of a Python project, they developed an app that enabled information updates, removals, and display for game audio professionals. Its purpose was to facilitate the upload of sound design assets and contextual examples.
After completing the course, Ryan joined SoundSurf as a Junior Software Developer, where they worked until October 2022. Ryan then moved to OneBanx in the same role, and later transitioned to Incentive Games as a Junior Software Developer in April 2023.
Throughout their work experience, Ryan has consistently demonstrated their passion for software development and their ability to adapt to diverse projects and technologies.
Ryan Caulfield attended Glasgow Kelvin College from 2014 to 2016. During their time there, they pursued a degree in HND Music Business.
