Yaser Elzayat is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in journalism, training, and media production. As a Co-Founder and Director of Y media TCP since July 2015, Yaser has also managed the in-depth journalism program at The Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute since 2018. Additional roles include Freelance Trainer for International Media Support, Coach and Trainer for Free Press Unlimited, and Chief Investigative Editor at Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) from December 2016 to September 2017. Yaser's previous positions encompass Editor in Chief of the Arabic department at RNW Media, Journalism Trainer for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, and Senior Producer of the Investigative Journalism Unit at ON TV, INC. Yaser holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Asyut University, obtained between 1984 and 1988.
