Scooter Mebarek is a seasoned corporate development manager and former M&A analyst with a robust background in financial due diligence and auditing. Currently at Improving since June 2020, Scooter previously held positions at KPMG as a senior associate focusing on financial due diligence, and at CBIZ MHM, LLC as a senior audit associate, where significant contributions to client relationships and audit efficiency were recognized. Earlier experience includes a role as an audit associate at Grant Thornton LLP, where expertise in financial statement audits for diverse industries was developed, in addition to a formative internship at the same firm. Scooter earned a Master of Accounting from the University of Kansas Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Kansas.
