Deanna Swartzfager has been working in the veterinary field for over eight years. Deanna started their career as a veterinary technician and has since become a registered veterinary technician. Deanna currently works as a veterinary medical assistant at ImpriMed, Inc.
Deanna has always had a passion for animals and decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine after working at an animal hospital during high school. Deanna graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Penn Foster Career School in 2011 and began working at Highway Veterinary Hospital. After three years, they transferred to Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital where they worked in the emergency department caring for critically ill animals. In 2016, they began working at Bush Veterinary Neurology Service where they cared for animals with neurological disorders.
Deanna is dedicated to their work and loves helping animals. Deanna is excited to be working at ImpriMed where they can continue to help animals and their owners.
Deanna Swartzfager has an Associate of Arts and Sciences from San Juan College in Veterinary/Animal Health Technology/Technician and Veterinary Assistant. Deanna also has a Bachelor of Science in Education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in Biology/Biological Sciences, General, and a Master of Life Science from the University of Maryland - The Graduate School. Deanna is certified from the State of Maryland as a Registered Veterinary Technician.
