André Bergholz began their career in 2001 as a Research Engineer at Xerox Research Centre Europe. In 2006, they moved on to Fraunhofer IAIS where they held the role of Senior Research Engineer / Project Manager. In 2011, they joined Implisense as Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer (CPO).
André Bergholz obtained their German Diploma in Computer Science from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin between 1989 and 1996. André then continued their studies at the same university, earning a PhD in Computer Science between 1996 and 2000. Following this, they completed a Postdoc in Computer Science at Stanford University from 2000 to 2001. In 1992 and 1993, they also attended The University of Edinburgh, studying Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, Bergholz has obtained various certifications from Coursera and Udacity, including Introduction to Operations Management, Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills, Foundations of Business Strategy, Data Analysis, Computing for Data Analysis, How to Build a Startup, and Natural Language Processing.
