Pat Charmley is an experienced project and program management executive in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as VP of Project and Program Management at Implicit Bioscience since February 2020. This role involves strategic project planning, execution, and risk assessment for the development of antibody-based drugs. Charley previously held senior leadership roles at Alder Biopharmaceuticals, PhaseRx, Omeros Corporation, Marina Biotech, Ionian Technologies, and Celltech R&D, where responsibilities included management of integrated project plans, cross-functional team leadership, regulatory submissions, and oversight of manufacturing collaborations. Pat has a Ph.D. in Immunology/Molecular Genetics from UCLA and extensive expertise in drug development, project management methodologies, and cross-disciplinary collaboration within the life sciences sector.
