Melinda F Bacon has extensive work experience in various roles within the oil industry. Melinda F is currently working as the Contracts Execution Lead at Imperial Oil since 2022. Previously, they served as the Senior Asphalt Accounts Manager at ExxonMobil from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, Melinda worked at Imperial Oil from 2000 to 2020, holding positions such as Manager of Legal Operations, Business Enablement Projects and Process Advisor, Asphalt Logistics and Supply Optimization, National BioFuels Trader, Product Trader and Long Term Agreement Manager, Business Process Expert, Pricing Controls and Administration Manager, Marine Fuel Sales, and Vision Implementor Western Canada. Before joining Imperial Oil, Melinda worked as the Manager of Training and Recruiting - Branded Associates and Territory Manager from 1995 to 2000.

Melinda F Bacon attended the University of Saskatchewan from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Marketing.
